Then at GenCon, I saw the products for Master Maze ( MasterMaze ) from Dwarven Forge and I knew I had the answer to my problems. The MasterMaze products is squared off just like a Blood Bowl board and if you make the small rule while using the MasterMaze board that 1/2 squares are just part of the wall and only full squares can be moved into or hold the ball or a treasure chest, you are ready to rock and roll.
Here are some pictures of the board with a comparison to the same setup using the eight 2nd edition Dungeonbowl board pieces and all 4 optional doors. I have also included a few pics of a sample dungeon set-up with Phil Lewis's Chaos All-Stars and Fat Bloke's Chaos teams battling it out to give you a sense of scale.
To cost of materials for this set-up at retail from Dwarven Forge is $470 USD. However, I've talked
to the owner of Dwarven Forge and while he cannot create a Dungeonbowl package deal due to copyright
infrigement issues, anyone ordering this much product from him would most likely get a discount
if they e-mailed and asked about it first (regardless of what they were using it for.)
The order list to create this beautiful board from Dwarven Forge's MasterMaze product is as follows:
